Prof. Jerzy Langer

Jerzy Langer is a professor of physics at the Institute of Physics of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw, a member and former Secretary for Foreign Affairs at the Academia Europaea, a member of the American Physical Society, and a founding member as well as honorary vice-chairman of EUROSCIENCE. He also served as the chief advisor to the President of the Polish Academy of Sciences and later became the Deputy Minister of Science. He advises the Mayor of Wrocław on academic and pro-innovation transformation strategies. For four years, he was the CEO of the Wrocław Research Centre EIT (www.eitplus.pl), the largest new research and innovation infrastructure center in Poland, co-financed by Cohesion Funds. He has also supported the European Commission (DG for Research and Innovation, DG for Digital Single Market, and DG for Regional Policy) as a key advisory body on science and innovation (European Science Advisory Group, ISTAG advisory committee, and Joint Research Centre governing board). He currently sits on the advisory unit "New and Future Technologies" (FETAG) at the DG for Digital Single Market and is a member of the mirror group of the Smart Specialization Strategy Platform HL at the DG for Regional Policy. Since the establishment of the European Research Council (ERC), he has been a member of the panel for advanced research grants for six years. Professor Langer is the co-author of several key European policy documents related to the European Research Area (ERA), ERC, FET, and regional innovation policy; he also co-evaluated the 6th Framework Program. He was also a member/chair of many EU national science and innovation policy evaluations. In 2011, he formulated the concept of the European Innovation Council, a twin unit to the ERC but focused on breakthrough technologies. He is the author of approximately 250 widely cited research papers and lectures at numerous conferences on condensed matter physics, three patents, and over 200 works and books on European and Polish science policy. He has supervised 15 PhD students, six of whom are now professors. He is a member/chairman of many conference program committees on physics and science policy. He is also a frequent commentator on the Research Europe platform.

Gulay Avci

Gulay Avci serves as the regional manager for RAK Free Trade Zone in Turkey. She earned her bachelor's degree from the Middle East Technical University (ODTU) in Ankara and shortly thereafter secured the position of marketing manager at the RAK Free Trade Zone in the United Arab Emirates. Gulay lived in Dubai for 10 years between 1995 and 2005, where she gained diverse experience in international management, sales, and business development to create a platform for major Turkish investors in the UAE. She was promoted to regional manager of RAK FTZ in Turkey. She established the Turkish Communication Agency for Free Zones in Istanbul in 2007, where she continues to promote Ras Al Khaimah and RAK FTZ internationally. She currently resides in Istanbul with her husband and daughter.

Ciprian Morcan

Ciprian Morcan holds a bachelor's degree in law from Lucian Blaga University in Sibiu (Romania). He has over 13 years of experience in marketing consulting as a manager, trainer, and entrepreneur. Since 2012, he has been the manager of the Transylvanian Furniture Cluster, coordinating the Cluster Development Strategy and being involved in implementing an integrated pool of projects funded by the Sectoral Operational Program for Increasing Economic Competitiveness in Romania from 2007 to 2013. The integrated pool of projects has a budget of over 12 million euros and includes 10 projects: 2 R&D projects, 2 software projects, and 6 infrastructure projects. As cluster manager, he initiated and coordinates an RDI project for the next five years with a total budget of 2.5 million euros. This project is funded by European funds and aims to strengthen the position of the Transylvanian Furniture Cluster as an innovative cluster. As a role model in cluster management, this group was awarded the silver ESCA label at the end of 2015. During his career as a cluster manager, he participated in numerous training sessions at the Cluster Academy in Linz in 2014 and the Introduction to Excellent Cluster Management in Barcelona in 2015.

Salem Aleisayi

Salem Aleisayi, with a bachelor's degree in accounting, is currently the executive director of the Accountants and Auditors Association in Abu Dhabi. He supervised all the Association's work, including UAECA qualifications. Mr. Aleisayi was a board member of the Accountants and Auditors Association and approved UAECA credentials which were endorsed on UAE Flag Day 2014, a day recognized as Accountant's Day. Aleisayi's involvement in the UAE's plans aims to train over 100 certified accountants locally by 2021. Mr. Aleisayi is the editor of the "Economy and Accounting" journal published bi-monthly by the Accountants and Auditors Association. He is particularly interested in advisory services, providing business and financial services based on his over 23 years of experience and participation in many projects. He is also the founder and CEO of Sama Management Consultancy.

Shuhail Alsaedi

Shuhail Salem Alsaedi, retail sales manager, Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority, Al Ain City, Abu Dhabi. He holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from the United Arab Emirates University, 1989. He has extensive knowledge in agriculture, having worked at the Department of Agriculture from 1991 to 2010, and has been working at the Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority since 2010. Dr hab. Rafał Tuzimek

CEO of Navigator Capital S.A. and CEO of Navigator Brokerage House S.A. He is a graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics and IESE Business School - University of Navarra. He has over 20 years of professional experience in financial and strategic advisory, including advising on IPOs, mergers of listed companies, buy-sell transactions in the private market, and privatizations, as well as leading comprehensive restructuring programs in various sectors. He is a member of the Supervisory Boards of companies listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. He previously worked at Ipopema, Credit Lyonnais, and Arthur Andersen.

Dr Tadeusz Łamacz

Tadeusz Łamacz holds a PhD in economics, specializing in, among others, corporate financial management and public finance. He has taught at the University of Warsaw and the Higher School of Commerce and International Finance. He has held positions in both government administration (as an advisor to the Deputy Prime Minister and head of the Economic Committee of the Council of Ministers) and in companies of various profiles (as a member of the supervisory boards of Bank Pomorski, Agromet-Motoimport, Morliny, Erg, Fabud). He was involved in the privatization process of companies in the food industry as a consultant. He is the author of publications on a wide range of topics - international trade, international finance, systemic transformation policy, sources of economic crises, as well as a translator of the Oxford Dictionary of Finance and Banking. From 1993 to 1994, he was a member of an international team analyzing the process of financial reforms in Eastern European countries. The results were published in "Financial Reform in Central and Eastern Europe (The MacMillan Press Ltd, 1995) - his contribution in the section "Financial Sector Development and Macroeconomic Policy in Poland 1990-3". He also conducted research on the cultural aspects of international trade and investment. He has supervised numerous bachelor's and master's theses by Polish and foreign students in economics and business culture. He is the author of several dozen articles on foreign trade topics during his time as a columnist for "Foreign Markets" (1980-1990).

Dr Stanisław Piasecki

PhD in technical sciences, graduate of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the Warsaw University of Technology. Specialist in the field of automation of production process systems and energy generation and distribution systems, including renewable energy (photovoltaics, wind energy, biogas, cogeneration). He has thirty years of practical experience in designing and building energy installations and waste processing installations, as well as in preparing and managing the implementation of investment projects in these areas. He participated in projects such as the construction of large photovoltaic power plants, wind farms, sewage treatment plants, waste utilization plants, and many others. He is authorized by the Association of Polish Electrical Engineers as an expert in the field of electrothermics and process automation. He conducted research as a member of an international expert team conducting advanced development work on solar collectors, photovoltaic cells, and Stirling engines.

Dr Piotr Janusz Zaprzałek

Dr. Piotr Janusz Zaprzałek holds a PhD in agricultural economics from the Warsaw University of Life Sciences. He has taught at the University of Lincoln, New Zealand. In addition, he has extensive experience in managerial positions, such as head of the Department of Economics at the Institute of Horticulture in Skierniewice, director of the Agricultural Market Department at the Ministry of Agriculture, and director of the Non-Public Healthcare Institution at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences. He has extensive knowledge of food production research, resource management, and agricultural consulting. Between May 2007 and May 2008, Mr. Zaprzałek was responsible for coordinating the European Agricultural Research Area activities within the Development Program for Poland. His main areas of activity include economics, organization and management in the agricultural industry, management of public universities, and real estate management.

Dr Marcin Wajda

Assistant professor at the Collegium of Economic and Social Sciences of the Warsaw School of Economics, where he obtained a PhD in economics. His scientific and research interests focus on the functioning of public financial instruments. Lecturer in micro and macroeconomics as well as public finance. Since 2007, he has been working in the regional government. He currently serves as the Director of the Department of Regional Development and European Funds at the Marshal's Office of the Mazowieckie Voivodeship in Warsaw. He is responsible, among other things, for the management and implementation of Regional Operational Programs. Expert of the Committee of the Regions of the European Union.

Ryszard Marcinczak

Currently, Ryszard Marcinczak is the Chairman of the Board of the Warsaw Chamber of Commerce - the chamber responsible for the Mazowsze region. In 2016, he co-organized the Homelife China Exhibition in Nadarzyn for 1,100 Chinese exhibitors. He manages the Mazovian Innovation Award. Mr. Marcinczak has two main areas of professional interest. The first is work in the energy sector in almost every activity - from system design, construction supervision, maintenance coordination, development of new investments, and facilitating international cooperation. The second is supporting and contributing to the development of business activities in Poland. Since defending his master's thesis in electrical engineering in 1979, he has worked for major Polish and international energy companies. In his career, he has held numerous managerial positions. While employed by PSE Operator, he was responsible for overseeing Polish grid transmission systems, implementing smart meters, planning new investments, and creating the Energy Supervision Center. During his employment with American Emerson, his duties focused on modernizing power units for the Bełchatów Power Plant. In the Chief Technical Organization, he coordinated cooperation between scientists and the private sector. To increase competitiveness and promote the best activities, Mr. Marcinczak created the Polish Innovation Award - a competition promoting the most innovative Polish and international companies operating in Poland. Moreover, his ideas for creating the Polish-Lithuanian energy bridge were subject to consultations during the legislative process for energy law in Poland. Mr. Ryszard is an honorary member of numerous professional associations, including the Polish Electricians Association, a court expert in the field of energy, a member of the Supervisory Board of the Chief Technical Organization, a member of the European Integration Club, and an advisor to Italian ENEL-DUKATI.

Dr Piotr Boguszewski

Specializes in research on enterprises focused on diagnosing economic conditions, including early warning systems for bankruptcy risk. Author and co-author of quarterly and annual reports on the situation of the non-financial sector. One of the co-creators of the information and analysis system of the non-financial sector used in the central bank. Active user of the SAS system.

Dr Grzegorz Czelej

Born on October 14, 1964, in Kraśnik. In 1990, he graduated from the Medical University of Lublin, and in 1999, he completed postgraduate studies in management and marketing at the Polish Foundation for Economic Development Support "OIC Poland", organized by the Lublin University of Technology in cooperation with the University of Illinois. In 1996, he obtained a PhD in medical sciences. In 1992, he founded the medical publishing house "Czelej" in Lublin. From 1999 to 2008, he served as the CEO of this publishing house. In 2006-07, he was a councilor of the Lublin City Council. He has received many prestigious awards in management. In the 7th term of the Senate, he was the deputy chairman of the Budget and Public Finance Committee, a member of the European Union Affairs Committee, and the Foreign Affairs Committee. In the 8th term, he chaired the Committee on Culture and Media and was a member of the National Economy Committee, the European Union Affairs Committee, and the Legislative Committee.

Adam Jerzy Bielan

Vice-President of the European Parliament from 2007 to 2009 Deputy Marshal of the Senate IX term Member of the National Defense Committee Member of the Foreign Affairs and European Union Committee Member of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly. Born on September 12, 1974, in Gdańsk. He holds a degree in political science. He began his social activity in the Independent Students' Association, of which he was the chairman from 1996 to 1998. He was the initiator and founder of the Polish Circle, bringing together all Polish MEPs. In subsequent European elections, he successfully sought re-election. He co-founded the European Conservatives and Reformists group and became its vice-chairman. He continued to work in the Foreign Affairs Committee, became the coordinator in the Internal Market and Consumer Protection Committee, and a member of the delegation for relations with Southeast Asian countries (ASEAN). He was recognized as the most active Polish MEP of the 2009-2014 term by the portal www.MEPranking.eu. Since 2014, he has been associated with the Poland Together United Right party, and since 2015, he has been its vice-president.

Maciej Pyrka

Maciej Pyrka graduated from the Warsaw University of Technology Business School, obtaining an Executive MBA, and also holds a master's degree in Sports Management and Tourism from the Academy of Physical Education. He began his career in 1995 with British Airways in Warsaw, gradually advancing to the position of Business Account Manager. In 2010, he joined LOT Polish Airlines, where he managed the carrier's commercial operations in Northwestern Europe, overseeing a large international team, making strategic decisions, and increasing revenue in the covered areas. In 2013, he was appointed Country Manager for Poland for Emirates Airlines. His responsibilities include managing Emirates' operations in Poland, proper positioning of the airline, and the dynamic development of the carrier in the new market. Maciej Pyrka has a total of 18 years of experience in the industry.

Marcin Herra

Throughout his professional career, he has managed companies such as Lotos Paliwa, PL.2012, and PL.2012+. He has extensive experience in managing so-called mega projects and the Leisure Industry. Vice President of the Polish Handball Association responsible for preparations and organization of the European Men's Handball Championship, EHF 2016. The event took place in Poland in January 2016 and was recognized as the best event in the history of European handball, with all quantitative and qualitative results being record-breaking. Ayusha

Ayusha has been the exhibitions director at the Dubai World Trade Centre since 2014. In this role, she is responsible for GITEX Tech Week, one of the largest tech shows in the world. She handles advertising strategies to increase revenue and identifies collaboration opportunities among regions, governments, and ministers to further enhance the event. She also creates employment and community programs for universities, schools, and dynamic start-ups. Before joining the Dubai World Trade Centre, she was the managing director for Edge Advisory from 2011-2014, where she established and managed a B2B advisory department focused on the subcontinental region. Ayusha has extensive experience in the energy and infrastructure sectors. She worked at Terrapinn Australasia and the Middle East for eight years, creating a strong brand in these regions for Terrapinn.

Kazimierz Zieliński

He is a graduate of computer science from the Technical University of Dresden (Germany). From 1990 to 2015, he worked in technical and managerial positions in various telecommunications industry companies abroad and in Poland. In 2013, he began his doctoral studies at the Department of Social Informatics at the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology. In 2015, he became the deputy director of the Museum of Technology and Industry in Warsaw for organizational matters. He is passionate about the history of technology and making this knowledge accessible to society.

Fernando Saganeta

He began his studies at Yule Technical College in the United Kingdom and later graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of La Laguna. He is the founder and director of the company "Sagaseta y asociados," which deals with legal matters and the development of various commercial activities. He has worked as a lawyer for over 30 years. He is a member of the arbitration court at the Chamber of Commerce and Navigation in Las Palmas; a board member of ASINCA, and vice-president of the Association of Arinaga Industries. He has undertaken various industrial activities in cooperation with a group of companies.

Tadeusz Kościński

On November 27, 2015, he was appointed Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Development. His entire professional career has been associated with the banking sector. Since 1997, he has served as a director at Bank Zachodni WBK S.A. Previously, he worked at the Polish Development Bank S.A., Bank Przemysłowo-Handlowy, Bank Śląski, and Bank Pomorski, as well as at two banks in London. He is a graduate of Goldsmith's University of London. Founder of the Kresy Historii Foundation.

Paweł Nowicki

He received his master's degree from the Warsaw School of Economics in management. His professional career began in 2010 as an innovation manager at the Nencki Institute of Experimental Biology at the Polish Academy of Sciences. He is also a graduate of the Top 500 Innovators training program at Stanford University, funded by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education. In 2010, he co-founded BTM Innovations, a company that helps scientists build the value of innovation and coordinates the BioTechMed cluster in Mazovia. As CEO and president of BTM since 2013, he has launched 10 biomedical start-ups based on the achievements of Warsaw Research Institutions. He was also a co-founder and board member of Simplicardiac, a spin-off company in the technology commercialization field formed at the Institute of Cardiology in Warsaw. In 2014, he co-founded the Innovative Poland Foundation, a platform for developing an innovative culture in Poland among various stakeholders. He is also a member of the Polish-American Innovation Council and serves as the Polish leader in the subcommittee on regional cluster development.

Rafał Lipiński

Graduate of the St. Batory High School in Warsaw, Faculty of Environmental Engineering at the Warsaw University of Technology, and the French Institute of Management IFG. He began his career at "Hydrobudowa 6". In 1988-89, he served as contract manager in Kuwait for Geokart Consulting Office. An entrepreneur who founded SEEN Technologie in 1990, which has seven branches in Poland and Hungary, Ukraine, and Belarus. Over 25 years of operation, it has built dozens of facilities and hundreds of environmental protection installations in Poland and abroad. Organizer, participant, and panelist of numerous industry conferences. In 2002, he received the prestigious title of "Silver Engineer" and in 2014 the title of "Employer of the Year". He established SEEN Holding Group in 2007, which is the largest structure of engineering and technology companies in Poland, comprising companies with long traditions. In the companies belonging to this group, he initiates and supports research and development activities, implementing several innovative projects. He is actively involved in social activities. He co-founded the "Polish Waterworks" Chamber of Commerce and the Club of Polish Entrepreneurs at IFG, where he was president. He is a co-founder and chairman of the NOT "Aquarina" award chapter, which distinguishes activities in the field of environmental protection. Founder and member of the "Aquaeductus" award chapter. For many years, he has supported the activities of the Society for the Care of the Blind in Laski. He is a member of the Historical and Literary Society in Paris. From 2005 to 2009, he served as vice-chairman and treasurer on the board of the Family Section of the Catholic Intelligentsia Club. Since 2010, he has been vice-chairman of the Józef Piłsudski Family Foundation. Since 2012, he has been a member of the Council of the Marshal Józef Piłsudski Museum in Sulejówek. Since 2012, he has been a member of the Council of the Polish Association of Construction Employers. Since 2015, he has been vice-president of PKEB.

Julian Bystrzanowski

Julian Bystrzanowski is a graduate of the Faculty of History at the University of Warsaw and holds a PhD in Physical Education from the Academy of Physical Education in Warsaw. He began his professional career as the head of the Warsaw "Almatur" Agency. For years, he was the deputy director at the Institute of Tourism. He also taught at the Faculties of Tourism and Hospitality at the Universities in Orlando and Philadelphia. Until September 2015, he was the rector of the Higher School of Tourism and Foreign Languages in Warsaw. He currently serves as the vice-president of the Conference of Rectors of Professional Polish Schools. Since 2008, he has been a member of the IGHP Council.

Barbara Tutak

A Warsaw native. A graduate of the University of Warsaw - Faculty of Geography and Regional Studies. She has been involved in tourism since the beginning of her professional career. Employed at the Polish Tourism Organization since 2000. From the beginning of her career, she has been associated with marketing planning and implementation of activities in foreign markets. She specializes in advertising campaigns. Currently, she serves as the Director of the Department of Marketing Instruments. She is responsible for implementing multimedia campaigns and selected promotional activities, including the production of spots and commercials. She oversaw the branding process of the Polish Tourism Organization. From mid-2010 to 2013, she was the leader of the largest POT promotional project: "Multimedia image-product campaign in foreign markets carried out under the Innovative Economy Operational Program 6.3. "Promotion of Poland's tourism values".

Piotr Soroczyński

Piotr Soroczyński – statistician from the Warsaw School of Economics, associated with the Export Credit Insurance Corporation for 10 years, first as CEO and now as chief economist. From 2006 to 2007, he served as Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Finance, responsible for public debt management. Previously, he worked for six years at the Bank of Environmental Protection in a senior position in the Department of Analysis and Management Information, later as chief economist. Mariusz Frankowski

Graduate of the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań in political science with a specialization in international relations, the Faculty of Management at the University of Warsaw (major: public manager), and postgraduate studies in innovation manager, carried out jointly by the Warsaw School of Economics and the Lake Forest Graduate School of Management in Chicago. Before taking the position of Director of the Mazovian Unit for Implementation of EU Programs, he served from 2007 as Deputy Director of the Department of Strategy and Regional Development at the Marshal's Office of the Mazowieckie Voivodeship, where he was responsible for managing and implementing projects within the Regional Innovation Strategy for Mazovia, cooperation with entrepreneurs and academic communities, and directly managing the Regional Operational Program of the Mazowieckie Voivodeship for 2007-2013. He has been involved in EU issues for years, in terms of regional policy and structural funds. Paulina Florjanowicz

She graduated with honors from the Institute of Archaeology at the University of Warsaw, specializing in late medieval and modern archaeology. Professionally, she initially worked with non-governmental organizations - the Stefan Batory Foundation, the Foundation for Economic Education - and later with public institutions - the National Center for Culture, the Center for the Protection of Archaeological Heritage. In 2007, she took the position of deputy director of the National Center for Research and Documentation of Monuments, and from May 2010, she served as acting director of this institution. After transforming KOBiDZ into the National Heritage Institute in 2011, she became its first director, a position she held until August 2013. From 2013 to 2016, she served as the plenipotentiary of the director for international relations at the National Institute of Museology and Collections Protection, and since March 2016, she has been the deputy director in the Department of Cultural Heritage at the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. Member of numerous expert panels dedicated to cultural heritage management and heritage protection policies at the European level. She has frequently collaborated as a cultural policy expert with both the Council of Europe and the European Commission. Author of many publications on cultural policy, project planning and financing, heritage education, and combating crime in the field of archaeology. Member of the International Committee of ICOM for Museum Security (ICMS).

Tomasz Chalimoniuk

Director of the TTcomm Ltd’s management board, a solicitor and a graduate of University of Liverpool, doctoral student of the Polish Academy of Sciences. Being in charge of TTcomm Ltd in recent years, which is one of the largest satellite communications operators in CEE, he proved that despite the economic crisis, it is possible to develop a company by conquering new markets in Europe and not to forget about the need of building the national cosmic industry at the same time. The animator of cooperation between Polish technical universities and the greatest Chinese cosmic companies. Mr Chalimoniuk strongly believes that Poland and Polish staff can afford to build native satellites. He has also been the chairman of Polish Horseracing Club Council, of which he held the President’s office since 2016.

Andrzej Zwara

Founder and Senior Partner at the law firm Głuchowski Siemiątkowski Zwara and Partners. He graduated in law from the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Gdańsk. He completed both judicial and legal apprenticeships. He was also a research associate at the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Gdańsk in the Department of Administrative Law. Marta Kicler

Graduated from the Higher School of Tourism and Hospitality Organization (bachelor's degree) and completed her master's studies at the Faculty of Management at the University of Warsaw in management, specializing in tourism management. Her education was complemented by Postgraduate Managerial Studies for Modern Economy Staff, also at the University of Warsaw. She has been professionally involved in the gastronomy and hospitality industry since high school. In 2007, she started working at Mazurkas Travel Group in the Local Tours department, organizing short stay and tourist programs for foreign, corporate, and government delegations. Later, as a project and senior project manager in the Meetings & Incentives department, she prepared projects in the MICE sector. Since 2011, she has been responsible for the entire department. She focuses mainly on developing Mazurkas DMC Poland, acquiring new clients and projects in the business tourism sector for the company, promoting the company and Poland internationally, and working on new and niche markets. She actively participates in industry associations and is currently the Vice-President for Membership of the MPI Poland Chapter.

Adam Struzik

Born on January 1, 1957, in Kutno – a doctor, local government official, social activist, parliamentarian, politician. Marshal of the Senate from 1993-1997, senator of the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th terms, and since 2001, Marshal of the Mazowieckie Voivodeship. Professional and social activity: A graduate of the Faculty of Medicine at the Medical Academy in Łódź. Specialist in internal medicine. He completed postgraduate studies in health protection organization and economics and postgraduate managerial studies in public administration at the Faculty of Management at the University of Warsaw. From 1990-1997, he was the general director of the Provincial Integrated Hospital in Płock. Volunteer firefighter and member of the Provincial Board and the Main Board of the Volunteer Fire Brigades Association of the Republic of Poland. Political activity: Since 1984, he has been a member of the Polish People's Party, sitting on regional and national authorities of this party. Member of the European People's Party (EPP). Senator of the Republic of Poland from 1991-2001. Chairman of the Senate Committee on Social Policy and Health in the 2nd term. Marshal of the Senate from 1993-1997. Vice-Chairman of the National Assembly, which in 1997 adopted the current Constitution of the Republic of Poland. In 2007, elected to the 6th term of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland – resigned from the mandate, remaining in the position of Marshal of the Mazowieckie Voivodeship. Local government activity: From 1984-1988, a councilor of the Nowy Duninów commune, and since 1988, a councilor of the city and commune of Gąbin. Vice-President of the Association of Polish Voivodeships, whose task is to support the idea of local government, defend the common interests of voivodeships, and strive for socio-economic development of Polish voivodeships. As a representative of this body, he participates in the work of the Joint Commission of the Government and Local Government in the new term 2015–2018. Since 2004, a member of the Committee of the Regions in the EPP political group. On February 10, 2010, he was appointed to the Presidium of the Committee of the Regions. He participates in the work of the COTER (Commission for Territorial Cohesion Policy), ENVE (Commission for Environment, Climate Change, and Energy), and BUD (Subcommittee on Budget), the Joint Consultative Committee KR - Serbia and the working group on the Western Balkans. Since October 2011, a member of the Joint Consultative Committee of the Committee of the Regions on the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia.

Dr. Andrzej Drozd

Doctor of Law, legal advisor, and orientalist, assistant professor at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. He runs a law firm in Gdynia and Sopot specializing in civil law issues related to cultural heritage protection. He has been cooperating for years with the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage and museum institutions. Dr. Przemysław Gonera

An outstanding manager, scientist, ecologist. After graduating from high school, he began studies at the Faculty of Geography at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. After graduation in 1975, he started working at the Institute of Geography in a scientific research position. In the same year, he was the organizational manager of the Student Scientific Expedition to Australia. In 1984, he defended his doctoral dissertation on the reconstruction of the river environment of the Warta River during the Late Vistulian period. In 1987, he participated in research in Spitsbergen, and in 1989, the Institute of Ecology of the Polish Academy of Sciences entrusted him with the leadership of the 15th Antarctic Expedition to King George Island at the Polish Antarctic Station named after H. Arctowski. Upon his return in 1992, he continued his work at the Institute of Geography at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. In 1993, the Poznań Voivode appointed him as President of the newly established Provincial Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management in Poznań. Przemysław Gonera has made a significant contribution to the development of this institution, which is of great importance for environmental protection in the region. In June 2004, he was entrusted with the duties of Chairman of the Convention of Presidents of the Boards of Provincial Funds for Environmental Protection and Water Management.

Dr. Marek Rubnikowicz

Marek Rubnikowicz, archaeologist. A graduate of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań (1979). Doctor of Humanities in Archaeology (1991). Scientific worker at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń from 1979-2001. Provincial Conservator of Monuments from 1993-1998 and 2002-2006; Deputy General Conservator of Monuments from 1999-2001 and acting General Conservator of Monuments in 2001/2002. Piotr Sienicki

Piotr Sienicki is a graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics, where he completed a bachelor's degree in international relations in 2004 and a master's degree in management and marketing in 2007. He was also a student at the Facultés Universitaires Catholiques de Mons in Belgium, where he stayed as an Erasmus program participant. Krzysztof Maj

From 1994-1999, Director at the General Customs Inspectorate GUC and press spokesman for the Polish Football Association. In 2002, Advisor to the Undersecretary of State – head of the Customs Service at the Ministry of Finance. Since 2008, Director of the Museum of Sports and Tourism in Warsaw. Author of the book "Cwaniaczku nie podskakuj" (1993), co-author of the publication "Raz na wozie, raz pod wozem – przeglądowa sonda futbolowa" (2014), and a long-time columnist for "Przegląd Sportowy."

She is the author of numerous publications, guides, projects, and training materials that promote children's rights and reveal their violations in family and social life. She serves as a consultant and expert in educational projects and campaigns related to children, youth, and families. She has extensive experience in fighting for children's rights from both local government and governmental perspectives, being the first and only "minister for children" (Government Plenipotentiary for Children’s Affairs). Her activity is focused on work at the Committee for the Protection of Children's Rights, which she co-founded 40 years ago and has led ever since. Monika Siudek

A graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at Maria Curie Skłodowska University in Lublin, postgraduate studies in Public Relations and Human Resource Management at the University of Warsaw. Iwona Manista-Kutryś

I am a singer, composer, educator, and actress. I graduated with a degree in artistic education from the University of Łódź and choral conducting from the Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz, as well as the Acting School of Halina and Jan Machulski in Warsaw. I have had the opportunity to perform in, among others, the Stu Theatre in Kraków and the Stara Prochoffnia Theatre in Warsaw. I gained stage experience under Janusz Józefowicz and Jan Machulski. Music is my greatest passion. I also love theater, film, poetry, books, and photography, which is why I like to add photos to my clips because they, like poetry and music, can capture what is fleeting and beautiful. One of them, "Taniec" with lyrics by Ewa Jowik – a poet from Lesznowola, received an award at the National Festival of Jonas Kofta in Warsaw and was on the Gentle List of Hits of the online Radio Aspect for a year and a half, often in the first place. Elżbieta Klemensowicz, born on December 29, 1964, in Białystok. She graduated from the Fryderyk Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw, Faculty of Music Education in Białystok in 1988. From 1988-1990 she worked as the conductor of the Białystok University of Technology Choir and for 3 seasons at the Aleksander Węgierko Theatre in Białystok as an extra in three plays: "Krakowiacy i Górale" by W. In 2002, she founded her company and creates under the pseudonym ELLA K, collaborating with boutiques in Paris, Mauritius, Venice, Lebanon, exhibiting in art galleries in Poland, Sweden, USA, and participating in fashion shows, creating collections for designers (Izabela Łapińska, Christophe Guillarme, Christian Lacroix, Chanel). She lives in Paris with her 10-year-old daughter Alice.

Initially, she was responsible for the sale of CDMA/GSM infrastructure, and then wireless broadband Internet access technologies first in Poland and then in Central Europe and CIS countries (former Soviet Union countries). Since August 2016, as Regional Sales Director at Winncom Technologies, she is responsible for 23 countries, dealing with the sale of wireless broadband technologies and high-end IT equipment. Previously with Motorola, and now with Winncom Technologies, she has implemented and continues to implement a number of interesting projects to combat digital exclusion in rural areas and "Smart City" projects in her region. Some of them include: the project to provide the internet to 1,500 schools and universities in Albania, 950 schools and universities in Macedonia, and 250 schools and universities in Montenegro; the project to provide the internet to 874 libraries in Latvia, Smart City projects in Belgrade, Varazdin, Dubrovnik (Croatia), Sarajevo, and Bihac (Bosnia and Herzegovina) as well as over 100 projects aimed at eliminating digital exclusion funded by EU funds. She is also socially active in the Chopin Foundation in Chicago, which dreamed of placing a replica of the Chopin monument from Warsaw in the beautiful Grant Park in Chicago. Ryszard Roman Kalisz

Ryszard Roman Kalisz Ryszard Kalisz, born on February 26, 1957, in Warsaw, holds a higher education degree. In 1980, he graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw. From 1981 to 1983, he was a judicial trainee, followed by legal training from 1984 to 1987. In 1985, he received a scholarship from the University of Zurich (Switzerland). Between 1987 and 2007, he practiced law, working at his own law firm, "Legal" law firm, and the "Czerski, Kalisz, Krzaczek" law firm. During this period, he handled cases for major Polish, Austrian (EVVA), and German (MAN) companies, primarily focusing on commercial, corporate, and tax law. He served as an expert during the Round Table Talks (1989), Deputy Chairman of the State Tribunal (1993-1995), co-author of the Polish Constitution of April 2, 1997, Secretary of State in the Chancellery of the President of Poland (1997-2000), and Head of the Presidential Chancellery (1998-2000). He was a member of the National Security Council (2000-2005) and Minister of the Interior and Administration of Poland (2004-2005). Janusz Steinhoff

Janusz Steinhoff (born September 24, 1946, in Gliwice) is a Polish engineer and politician. From 1997 to 2001, he served as the Minister of Economy, and from 2000 to 2001, he was the Deputy Prime Minister in the government of Jerzy Buzek. He was also a member of the Sejm (Polish parliament) during its 10th, 1st, and 3rd terms. Between 2004 and 2008, he was the chairman of the Centre Party. A graduate and long-time academic at the Silesian University of Technology, Steinhoff has had a notable political career. From 1990 to 1994, he served as the President of the Higher Mining Office, where he oversaw the preparation and passage of the Mining and Geological Law in the Sejm. From 1997 to 2001, he was the Minister of Economy in Jerzy Buzek’s government, and starting in June 2000, he also became Deputy Prime Minister. During this time, he led a comprehensive reform of the hard coal mining sector. A strong advocate of the idea of economic self-governance, he has been the chairman of the Regional Chamber of Commerce in Katowice for 20 years. From 2012 to 2020, he also served as the chairman of the National Chamber of Commerce Council. Steinhoff is an economic expert and the author of numerous studies and patents in the fields of mining, energy, and environmental protection. He has been awarded the Officer's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta (2005) and the Cross of Freedom and Solidarity (2014). He has also received several economic and international awards, including an honorary doctorate from Ajou University in 2000.

Peter C. Bishop

Peter C. Bishop is an American futurist, retired professor of future strategy, and former director of the Future Studies program at the University of Houston. He earned his bachelor's degree in philosophy from Saint Louis University, where he also studied mathematics and physics. He then obtained a master’s degree in sociology from Michigan State University and completed his PhD in sociology in 1974. His academic career began at Georgia Southern College in 1973, where he specialized in social problems and political sociology. Bishop joined the University of Houston in 2005 after teaching at the University of Houston–Clear Lake since 1982. He specializes in long-term forecasting and planning techniques. He is the co-author of the book "Thinking about the Future: Guidelines for Strategic Foresight", written with Andy Hines. Bishop conducts seminars and lectures for various organizations, including IBM, NASA, Nestlé USA, and many others. He is also the founder and president of Strategic Foresight and Development, a company that provides education on future thinking.

Prof. Anicia Peters

Prof. Dr. Anicia Peters is the Director General of the National Commission for Research, Science, and Technology (NCRST) and Co-Chair of the 4IR (Fourth Industrial Revolution) Working Group of the African Scientific Research and Innovation Council (ASRIC) of the African Union, tasked with developing the 4IR strategy for Africa. She also established the National Artificial Intelligence Task Force for Namibia. She served as the Chair of Namibia’s Presidential Task Force on the Fourth Industrial Revolution (2021-2022), appointed by the late President of Namibia. In 2021, she was appointed to the inaugural Green Hydrogen Technical Committee at the Office of the President and co-founded the Namibian Green Hydrogen Research Institute, based at the University of Namibia. Prof. Peters held the position of Pro-Vice Chancellor for Research, Innovation, and Development at the University of Namibia. Previously, she was the Dean of the Faculty of Computing and Informatics at the Namibian University of Science and Technology, where she co-founded the Namibia-India Centre of Excellence in Information Technology. In 2020, she received the Google Inclusion Research Award, jointly with Prof. Shaimaa Lazem from Egypt. With over 90 publications and an H-index of 18, she has supervised numerous master’s and doctoral students. Her professional experience includes large-scale IT software and systems development and implementation for the Namibian government. As a consultant for the WHO and World Bank, she developed strategies for e-health and e-government procurement for Namibia. She has over 30 years of academic, industrial, and managerial experience, both locally and internationally. She earned her PhD and Master’s in Human-Computer Interaction from Iowa State University, where she studied under a Fulbright International Science and Technology Fellowship, the Schlumberger Faculty for the Future Fellowship, and a Google Scholar Award. Her bachelor's degrees are from the Namibian University of Science and Technology. She also completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Oregon State University and worked for the tech company Intuit in Silicon Valley. She founded the Africa Human Computer Interaction Conference (AfriCHI). One of her strategic goals is to establish a National Institute of Artificial Intelligence for Namibia. Her project on developing an African HCI-AI curriculum was recognized as one of the top 19 AI projects worldwide in 2023. She is currently focused on building ethical, trustworthy, and human-centered AI globally. Throughout her career, Prof. Peters has received numerous awards and honors for her contributions to science, industry, leadership, and the promotion of women in research, science, and technology. She is widely regarded as a visionary leader committed to promoting innovation and advancing science and technology to support economic growth and development in Namibia and beyond.

Prof. Dr. Hab. Eng. Barbara Gworek

Prof. Dr. Hab. Eng. Barbara Gworek specializes in environmental assessment, waste management, the reclamation of chemically degraded areas, the fate and behavior of emerging contaminants in the environment, as well as life cycle assessment (LCA), carbon footprint calculation, and carbon sequestration in soil. From 1996 to 2016, she served as the director of the Institute of Environmental Protection – National Research Institute. During this time, she led teams in the environmental and agricultural sectors, preparing strategic programs in the area of environmental protection, and coordinated work on developing proposals for multi-year program projects for the ministry of science. She co-organized the establishment of the National Emission Inventory Center at the Institute of Environmental Protection, which laid the foundation for the National Administrator of Emission Allowances, currently the National Center for Emission Management and Balancing. She has participated in numerous research projects related to greenhouse gas emissions, including "Development and Implementation of a Strategic Adaptation Plan for Sectors and Areas Vulnerable to Climate Change" and "Support for Low-Emission Agriculture - Adaptable to Climate Change Currently and in the Perspective of 2030 and 2050." Currently, she is the head of the Earth Protection Center and the Department of Environmental Chemistry and Risk Assessment. Prof. Gworek is the author or co-author of over 300 original creative works and holds 6 patents. For her scientific and research activities, she has been repeatedly awarded by the Rector of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW), the Minister of Environmental Protection, and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland. She is an expert in the field of soil, land, and green area protection and reclamation/remediation.

Prof. Dr. Hab. Justyna Chodkowska-Miszczuk

She works at the Faculty of Earth Sciences and Spatial Management at Nicolaus Copernicus University and is also a member of the University Center of Excellence IMSErt: Interacting Minds, Societies, Environments, in the PSE team: People, Space, and Environment. Her research focuses on the socio-spatial aspects of energy transformation, renewable energy sources, sustainable development, smart and resilience concepts, local development, rootedness, urban mobility, adaptation to climate change, energy policy, ecological awareness, and just transition. She is the author and co-author of over 100 scientific works: monographs and articles, including those published in renowned scientific journals such as Renewable and Sustainable Energy Reviews, Energy Research & Social Sciences, Land Use Policy, The Anthropocene Review, and others. She conducts numerous research projects, mainly in international teams, which she leads and initiates. She collaborates with scientists from European university centers, including the United Kingdom, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Sweden, the Netherlands, and others. She led an international research project on the development of renewable energy sources at the local level. She was a member of the international working group Energy SHIFTS RENEWABLES Horizon 2020, which worked on the social aspects of energy transformation. The final report was successfully submitted to the European Commission. She actively participates in major international scientific conferences, including the EU Cohesion Policy Conference, American Association of Geographers Annual Meeting, Royal Geographical Society – Institute of British Geographers Annual International Conference, and Regional Studies Association Annual Conference. She is a regular reviewer of articles submitted for publication in scientific journals, mainly prestigious international ones. She also has experience in sharing knowledge – she regularly conducts workshops for students and teachers of various types of schools and collaborates with the socio-economic environment.

Prof. Jarosław Sęp

Prof. Jarosław Sęp, PhD, DSc, Eng., Vice-Rector for Development and Cooperation at Rzeszów University of Technology, Head of the Department of Machine Technology and Production Engineering at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Aeronautics. From 2012 to 2019, he served as the Dean, and from 2008 to 2012 as the Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Aeronautics. His current research interests include tribology, energy applications of hydrogen, and the monitoring and optimization of manufacturing processes. Prof. Dr. Hab. Eng. Rafał Scherer

Prof. dr hab. Inż. Rafał Scherer pracuje w Katedrze Sztucznej Inteligencji na Wydziale Informatyki i Sztucznej Inteligencji Politechniki Częstochowskiej. He is the author of approximately 200 publications in the field of artificial intelligence, including two monographs published by Springer. Dr. Hab. Eng. Arkadiusz Węglarz

He was awarded the Gold Cross of Merit by the President of Poland for achievements in energy efficiency in construction. Professional Experience: In 1987, he graduated with a master's degree from the Faculty of Civil Engineering at the Warsaw University of Technology and started working in construction, holding various positions (cost estimator, site manager, engineer). In August 1989, after winning a competition, he was employed at the Faculty of Civil Engineering as an assistant, and after earning his Ph.D. in engineering, he became an adjunct professor. As of April 4, 2023, he holds a postdoctoral degree (habilitation), and on April 1, 2024, he became a university professor. The Warsaw University of Technology remains his primary workplace to this day. In 1998, he was additionally employed by the National Energy Conservation Agency (KAPE S.A.). From 1999 to 2002, he served as Vice-President of KAPE S.A., and from 2002 to 2008, he was a project coordinator at KAPE S.A., followed by a role as Director of Sustainable Development and proxy until 2012. Since 2012, he has served as Advisor to the Board of KAPE S.A. on low-carbon economy. Between 1999 and 2002, he was Vice-Chairman of the Council of the Polish Corporation for Thermal Renovation. From 2003 to 2017, he was a member and then Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the company "Procesy Inwestycyjne" Sp. z o.o. Since 2000, he has served as Vice-President of the Association of Energy Auditors. He has been a member (typically as the lead performer or substantive manager) of approximately 50 research teams implementing projects funded through national or international competitions. As of February 27, 2024, the cumulative number of points awarded by the Ministry of Science for his publications is 2,440 points according to the Knowledge Base of the Warsaw University of Technology. His cumulative CiteScore is 30.6, and his cumulative SNIP is 13.567. Currently (as of February 2024), he is a member of the Scientific Council of the journal "Law and Construction," published by Polcen. After obtaining his Ph.D., he conducted 20 reviews for five scientific journals with an Impact Factor according to the JCR database, 15 reviews for other journals, and 8 for conference proceedings. He was a member of the Evaluation Team for the project "Energy and Process-Efficient Construction" led by the National Centre for Research. He was also a member of the Evaluation Team for the project "Ventilation for Schools and Homes," run by the National Centre for Research and Development. He served as Chairman of the Audit Committee of the Forum for the Development of Effective Energy (FREE). He is a member of the Program Council for the Railway Energy Efficiency Center. From 2009 to 2012, he was the Secretary of the Energy Efficiency Group of the Social Council for the National Emission Reduction Program, under Deputy Prime Minister Waldemar Pawlak. Dr Izabela Samson-Bręk

A graduate of Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw (Master’s in Environmental Protection, specializing in environmental protection technologies). In 2019, she obtained a PhD in technical sciences from the Faculty of Automotive and Construction Machinery Engineering at Warsaw University of Technology. Her doctoral dissertation focused on the environmental life cycle assessment of biogas as an energy carrier for powering stationary internal combustion engines. Jan Sarna

Jan Sarna – PhD in Sociology, born in 1948 in Katowice. He graduated from the Faculty of Economics and Sociology at the University of Łódź (1972) and the Department of International Relations and Foreign Policy at the Academy of Social Sciences in Moscow (1987). He is one of the pioneers of foundation management in Poland. In 1992, he became the General Director of the Foundation for Cardiac Surgery Development in Zabrze, which he co-founded and has led to this day, following the initiative of Professor Zbigniew Religa. This foundation is highly regarded both nationally and internationally, recognized as a trusted public institution and a non-commercial scientific research and development center. He was a key promoter in implementing Polish artificial heart assist devices, original biological heart valves, and the construction of the first prototype cardiac surgery robot in Europe, all developed in the Foundation's Heart Prosthesis Institute. Jan Sarna also served as the coordinator of the Government's Long-Term Program (2007–2012) titled "Polish Artificial Heart." He led thematic panels in the area of health for regional foresight projects such as "Priority Technologies for the Sustainable Development of the Silesian Voivodeship" and "Technological Foresight for the Development of the Public Services Sector in the Upper Silesian Metropolitan Area." He has been personally involved in organizing and implementing training systems in Poland for young medical professionals from Eastern Europe, particularly surgical teams from Georgia, Belarus, and Ukraine. Since 1992, he has co-organized the prestigious "Heart for Heart" concerts. Dr Artur Rycak

Lawyer, Doctor of Law, from 2000 to 2016 served as a judge and assessor adjudicating, among other cases, in labor and social security courts in the Lublin, Warsaw, and Warsaw-Praga regions. President of the International Association for Labor and Social Security Courts based in Warsaw. He has over 20 years of experience in litigation, including in labor law cases (as a judge and lawyer, he has adjudicated or handled more than 2,000 court cases across all levels of the judiciary). From 1996 to 2006, he was an assistant lecturer in the Department of Labor and Social Security Law at the Catholic University of Lublin. A graduate of the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków, specializing in foundry engineering of iron and non-ferrous metal alloys. Currently serves as the President of the Management Board at Green Energy PL and Green HUB. He has extensive experience in holding senior management positions in both domestic and international companies across sectors such as energy, telecommunications, and IT. His achievements include successful corporate restructurings, implementation of innovative recovery programs, organization of international investment projects, and efforts to promote energy efficiency. He is a co-founder of the Photovoltaic Industry Employers' Association and a member of its Audit Committee. As a consultant and advisor, he has collaborated with numerous local governments, business organizations, and companies in areas such as energy investments, financial restructuring, and the implementation of EU-funded projects in new technologies. He holds certifications in management, marketing, and energy efficiency. Albert Gryszczuk

An experienced investor, entrepreneur, inventor, and innovator. His business strategy is based on implementing innovative ideas and projects, both in business and technology. He is the President of Innovation AG S.A., the company that designed and developed the first Polish electric vehicle, eVanPL, intended for mass production. In August of this year, Innovation AG created an electric vehicle, based on the proprietary EAGLE platform, capable of transporting tourists in areas such as the Polish mountains. Albert Gryszczuk is the originator and creator of many energy clusters. As a specialist, he focuses on integrating systems that provide new functionalities in renewable energy, e-mobility, finance, air pollution control, vehicle monitoring, mechanics, and optics. He is an investor and business angel, supporting and implementing projects from various fields at an early stage of development. He is also an investor and manager in startups that are shaping the technological future. He founded the Zgorzelec Innovation Hub, specializing in developing technologies for energy clusters and e-mobility. On November 9, 2022, as the President of the National Chamber of Energy Clusters, Albert Gryszczuk was awarded the Ring of Independence, granted by the Association for National Security Support (SWBN). On May 8th of this year, he also received the Cross of Victory from the President of the Committee for the Protection of National Remembrance Sites.

Ryszard Roman Kalisz

Ryszard Roman Kalisz Ryszard Kalisz, born on February 26, 1957, in Warsaw, holds a higher education degree. In 1980, he graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw. From 1981 to 1983, he was a judicial trainee, followed by legal training from 1984 to 1987. In 1985, he received a scholarship from the University of Zurich (Switzerland). Dr. Paweł Machalski is the President of the Board of the Forum for the Development of Renewable Energy. He is a graduate of the Faculties of Law and Administration as well as Political Science and International Studies at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. Additionally, he completed postgraduate studies in Master of Business Administration. He is an academic lecturer at several universities and the author and co-author of books and scientific articles on local government and energy security. He is also an organizer and participant in numerous scientific and industry conferences. In 2019, complementing his academic activities, he took on the role of advisor for social marketing and development as well as the press spokesperson for a company in the renewable energy sector. On July 20, 2020, he was elected President of the Board of the Forum for the Development of Renewable Energy. He is the main coordinator of the Renewable Energy Development Congress, an industry conference organized in collaboration with Nicolaus Copernicus University, which annually brings together representatives from academia, business, and local governments in Toruń to discuss the challenges of Poland's energy transition and sustainable development.

Piotr Rudyszyn

Piotr Rudyszyn (ur 1976) He studied Architecture at the Technical University of Vienna and Renewable Energy through postgraduate courses in Wind and Hydrogen Studies at the University of Oldenburg. He has participated in numerous international trainings and specialized courses in the fields of energy, heating, and social negotiations. He is the founder of the industry organization PV Polska and a participant in various research projects. Since 1996, he has been designing wind and solar power plants as well as heating plants, participating as a designer and supervisor in over 100 projects. He holds industry certifications and is the author of forecasts and analyses for renewable energy and heating projects. He is also a banking auditor, having conducted numerous Due Diligence assessments for energy projects in Poland and abroad for investors and investment funds. He serves as an advisor to several local governments and is a member of supervisory boards and management boards of several companies. Additionally, he has authored many publications and articles in the fields of renewable energy, heating, hydrolysis, and energy storage. In 2023, he revived the company of the renowned Polish scientist and inventor, Professor Jan Czochralski, who was affiliated with TU Berlin and the Warsaw University of Technology. J. Czochralski Holding embodies a vision of using long-standing international experience to change Poland's current energy situation. The solutions offered by JCH have a common goal: decentralizing energy, producing and storing it where it is needed, and unlocking the full potential of renewable resources and green hydrogen. The company is implementing innovative projects for hydrogen hubs and accompanying infrastructure in Poland, the Czech Republic, and Ukraine. JCH is the largest designer of green hydrogen production installations in Central Europe. He currently lives and works in Germany and is fluent in German, English, Ukrainian, and Czech.

Łukasz Szeląg

Łukasz Szeląg is the Vice-Chairman of the Energy Committee at the Polish-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce. He is a co-founder of a startup promoting waste-to-green-energy conversion technology based on Polish research through the Polish Hydrogen Group. He also serves as the Director for Western Poland at the National Chamber of Energy Clusters and Renewable Energy Sources. Additionally, he is active on the boards of various non-governmental organizations, including WKlaster and GreenLab. Previously, Szeląg worked as a journalist for outlets such as Kurier Szczeciński, Polskie Radio, TVN24, and Polsat. He is an expert for the industry portal Wodociagowiec.pl. Radosław Szczerbowski

Dr. Eng. in Technical Sciences, graduate of the Poznań University of Technology. From 1994 to 2019, he was a research and teaching staff member at the Institute of Power Engineering at the Poznań University of Technology. Between 2019 and 2022, he served as the City Energy Engineer and Head of the Municipal Energy Division in the Department of Municipal Economy at the Poznań City Hall. Since 2022, he has been an adjunct professor in the Department of Power Plants and Energy Management at the Faculty of Environmental Engineering and Energy at the Poznań University of Technology. His scientific interests focus on energy generation, energy management, energy policy, and energy security. He is the author and co-author of over 90 publications and the scientific editor of 14 monographs on energy and energy security. He currently serves as the President of the Federation of Scientific and Technical Associations FSNT-NOT in Poznań and the Vice President of the Poznań Branch of the Association of Polish Electrical Engineers. Additionally, he is the Vice President of the Foundation for Clean Energy.

Piotr Soroczyński

A statistician and graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics (Szkoła Główna Handlowa - SGH), he has over 20 years of analytical experience as an economist or chief economist in the financial sector. He has worked at Bank Handlowy in Warsaw, Bank Ochrony Środowiska, and the Export Credit Insurance Corporation (KUKE). He also has management experience, having served as the President of the Management Board of KUKE and as Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Finance, where he was responsible for macroeconomic analysis, public debt management, and the development of the financial market. In both his professional and private life, he considers curiosity about the world to be of utmost importance. Andrzej Wasilewski

Andrzej Wasilewski was born on August 11, 1964, in Mława. He studied at the Higher Pedagogical School in Olsztyn, the University of Warsaw, and the University of Warmia and Mazury. Since 1990, he has worked in local government administration, holding positions such as municipal secretary, city secretary, municipal treasurer, and county treasurer. He served as an inspector of the Regional Audit Office (RIO) in Olsztyn and lectured on tax accounting, management control, and audit at the Higher School of Information Technology and Management in Olsztyn. Andrzej Wasilewski also ran his own training company, which conducted training programs co-financed by EU funds to enhance the competencies of local government unit staff. As a contributor to Gazeta Prawna and Wspólnota, he wrote articles on education financing and public finances of local government units (JST). He participated in discussion panels at national conferences organized by the publishers of these titles. He works as an expert witness in the field of budgetary accounting and public finances for courts in Olsztyn, Zamość, Lublin, Bydgoszcz, Warsaw, Suwałki, and Gdańsk.

I also publish and release books. I am currently working on my PhD dissertation at the Center for the Study of Women's and Gender Issues at the University of Warsaw. The subject of my research is "The Role and Social Position of Women in Poland After the Systemic Transformation and Accession to the European Union." By education, I am a physicist.

Dr Adam Nocoń

The President of the National Chamber of Commerce for Renewable Energy Devices, an entrepreneur and a scientist with a PhD in Natural and Exact Sciences from the University of Silesia in Katowice. He specializes in issues related to biomass combustion and the reduction of particulate emissions in heating devices. As an expert in this field, he is the co-author of numerous scientific papers and patents. For years, he has been actively involved in the development of renewable energy technologies (OZE) and promoting eco-friendly solutions in the energy sector.

Rafał Misztal

A graduate of the Faculty of Geology at the University of Warsaw (2002), the Institute of International Relations at the University of Warsaw (2007), and the Faculty of Economic Sciences at the University of Warsaw (2018). His master's theses focused on the oil and coal sectors, as well as energy security. He also completed the European Academy of Diplomacy (2011) and the Executive Master of Business Administration program at Cracow University of Technology, in collaboration with Central Connecticut State University. Robert Buszta

Trainer, coach, and business advisor. A graduate of sociology and psychology at the University of Warsaw, he is an exceptional trainer and coach (and practitioner) specializing in management: strategy, performance, people, pricing, research, and communication in business organizations, as well as in personnel policy, negotiation, debt collection, and sales strategy and techniques. He specializes in the chemical thermodynamics of processes occurring in the environment and the technology of production, quality assessment, and use of operational fluids, including biofuels. He has received numerous distinctions, decorations, and orders for his scientific and pro-innovative activities, both foreign and domestic. He also serves as Vice-Chairman of the International Jury of the World Salon of Scientific Progress and Innovation "Innova". He is also the chairman of the Promotional Emblem "Innovation Leader" and Chairman of the International Jury of INTARG. He is a leading expert at the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), and in Operational Programs, Horizon 2020, NCBiR, Ministry of Science and Higher Education, PARP, Ministry of Development, and the National Bank of Poland, as well as the Organization of American States (OAS), International Energy Agency (IEA), and UNIDO. He is the author of over 200 publications on the properties and operational conditions of fuels, biofuels, and other operational fluids as well as environmental protection and has supervised dozens of master's and engineering theses in this area. He holds the qualifications of an expert in the field of fuel-energy management and a certified lecturer of the Polish Economic Society and the Chief Technical Organization. He is an ordinary member of the Engineering Academy in Poland and a member of many national and foreign scientific societies, including the American Chemical Society (ACS - elected member) and the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS - elected member).

In 1966, he obtained the title of M.Sc. Eng. in Electronics and started working at the Department of Marine Electrical Engineering at the Institute of Electrotechnics. In 1978-82, he worked on automation of measurements, ultrasonic and pulse technology, and marine electronics at the Marine Fisheries Institute. In the 1980s, Dr. Iwaszkiewicz worked abroad in France and at sea for Basrah State Company. Later in his career, he dealt with mathematical systems and served as the head of the Compatibility Laboratory at the Gdańsk Branch. In 2000, he became Deputy Director of the Branch for Research, and a year later, Director of the Branch of the Institute of Electrotechnics UG. Dr. Adam Edward Szczepanowski – Dean of the Faculty of Economic Sciences at the Higher School of Finance and Management in Białystok. He holds a PhD in economics (Wrocław University of Economics, 2006), a graduate of postgraduate studies: Management (Białystok University of Technology, 1999) and Research Project Management and Development Works (Higher School of Economics in Białystok, 2011). From 1999-2002, he was a councilor of the Podlaskie Voivodeship Sejmik and a Member of the Board of the Podlaskie Voivodeship. He co-created the Development Strategy of the Podlaskie Voivodeship until 2010 and coordinated work related to the development of the tourism development strategy for the Podlaskie Voivodeship and regional development programs in the field of culture, sports, education, and tourism. He also co-created the Development Strategy of the City of Białystok for 2011-2020 Plus. He was a member of the Education and Culture Team of the Joint Government and Local Government Committee as a representative of the Convention of Marshals of the Republic of Poland. Since 2007, he has been an assistant professor at the Higher School of Finance and Management in Białystok, and since 2015, the Dean of the Faculty of Economic Sciences. He has developed 22 teaching programs for undergraduate and postgraduate studies. He is the author of 4 books and over 60 scientific articles in the fields of: sustainable development, tourism, regional and local development, spatial economy, strategic management. He participated in over 50 national and international conferences and scientific seminars and gave over 30 papers in Polish, English, and Russian. He was an expert of the Managing Authority of the Regional Operational Program of the Podlaskie Voivodeship for 2007-2013. Dr Jerzy Walosik

Dr Wojciech Szymalski

A graduate of the University of Warsaw, he obtained his doctorate in 2012 from the Faculty of Geography and Regional Studies, with a dissertation on social participation in regional planning. His undergraduate thesis in 2004, completed at the Interfaculty Studies of Environmental Protection, focused on the intersection of spatial economy and transportation. He further explored topics in spatial economy and environmental protection in 2002 at Saxion University in Deventer (Netherlands), in 2005 in postgraduate studies in urban planning and spatial economy at the Faculty of Architecture of the Warsaw University of Technology, and in 2008 during a scholarship at Deutsche Bundestiftung Umwelt in Berlin. Since 2009, Marta Laskowska has been involved in the environmental protection industry. Sławomir Kosz

An alumnus of the Wroclaw University of Science and Technology in the field of organization and management, he completed a scholarship at the University of Texas at Tyler in the United States. Since 2005, he has been the President of the Polish Software Market Association (Stowarzyszenie Polski Rynek Oprogramowania). Małgorzata Nowak

Editor-in-Chief of the IOZE.PL portal - a website promoting investments and events in renewable energy both domestically and internationally, providing information on the most effective ways to invest and build eco-friendly power plants in line with the principles of sustainable development. She serves as the organizer and coordinator of substantive conferences on renewable energy, including the conference series titled "Practical Aspects of Investing in Green Energy," which takes place during major renewable energy trade fairs in the country such as ENEX, Greenpower, and RENEXPO Poland. Stanisław Pietruszko

Stanisław M. Pietruszko, a graduate of the Faculty of Electronics at the Warsaw University of Technology, has been associated with his alma mater since completing his studies. He obtained his doctorate degree in Bombay (1981). Since then, he has actively collaborated within government programs with India, Thailand, China, Korea, Japan, and Brazil. He was the creator and coordinator of the Photovoltaic Center at the Warsaw University of Technology and oversaw the installation of photovoltaic systems (54 kW) on the facade of the Environmental Engineering Building at the university. He has completed 52 projects, including 20 European Union projects and 15 grants from the Committee for Scientific Research (KBN) and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education (MNiSW), the U.S. Department of Energy, Warsaw University of Technology, and others. His 43-year scientific career focuses on research in thin-film photovoltaic cells and transistors, as well as studies on photovoltaic modules and systems. He has authored over 160 scientific publications and has extensive experience in information exchange, management, and policy. He is a member of the Steering Committee of the European Photovoltaic Technology Platform, where he outlines the directions for photovoltaic development in the EU and coordinated the photovoltaic network in countries newly admitted to the EU. He was a Polish observer in the IEA PVPS and is a member of the Program Committees of many conferences on photovoltaics and renewable energy. Additionally, he serves as the President of the Polish Photovoltaic Society and is a member of the Board of the Polish Solar Energy Society - ISES.

Marcin Dolata

Marcin Dolata - an engineer, a graduate of Poznań University of Technology. He is the CEO & Co-founder of EasySolar (since 2011), one of the most innovative companies in the renewable energy industry. He is also a trainer in the field of photovoltaics, and the founder of AkademiaPV (2013) - one of the first academies organizing training for professionals in the photovoltaic industry. Andrzej Miłoszewski

Andrzej Miłoszewski - MSc in Environmental Engineering, a graduate of the Faculty of Environmental Engineering at the Warsaw University of Technology, specializing in water supply, wastewater treatment, and waste management. He has 46 years of professional experience in state administration units at the voivodeship and central levels related to environmental protection, particularly in environmental user control. In the 1980s, he co-created the first central control institution in this area, namely the State Environmental Protection Inspectorate, and a new system of environmental user control associated with it. He served as the longtime Director of the Inspection and Adjudication Department at the Chief Inspectorate of Environmental Protection. For 13 years, he was a member of the Program Board of the Minister of the Environment's "Leader of Polish Ecology" competition. He is a laureate of the Ministry of Environment's first-degree award for his participation in the work on "Identification and valuation of ecological damage in areas of deployment of Russian Federation forces". He is a co-author and author of numerous studies resulting from the Inspectorate's activities, including the first "Report on the State of the Environment". He has been awarded, among others, the Silver and Gold Cross of Merit, as well as the Silver and Gold Badge "For Merit in Environmental Protection and Water Management".

Paulina Wojciechowska

Engaged in the publishing industry since 2009, she has been focusing on energy topics for the past three years. Currently, she serves as the editor-in-chief of reo.pl - Renewable Energy Market, one of the most frequently cited sources of information on the RES market. She also supports the organization of industry events promoting renewable energy sources, such as the International Renewable Energy Congress GreenPower.

Mirosław Stando

He graduated from the Faculty of Electronics at the Warsaw University of Technology and has been professionally involved in telecommunications since 1971. From 1971 to 1992, he worked at PPTiT and the Ministry of Communications, and then at BPT Telbank S.A. (currently Exatel) and NASK (1992-2012). During this time, he successfully managed important telecommunications projects, gaining skills and experience in key areas related to telecommunications, including both legal regulations and applied technologies and investment processes. From 2006 to 2012, he managed projects for the construction of radio networks and the expansion of colocation systems. Currently, he is involved in work related to smart energy grids and Renewable Energy Sources. He is also an expert in Implementing European Projects Authority, particularly in applying for EU funding for telecommunications projects (within the framework of POIG 8.3 and 8.4 actions). Since 2005, Mirosław Stando has been a member of the Telecommunications Engineers Association SIT and the European Union Telecommunications Engineers Association FITCE, as well as a member of the Polish Photovoltaic Society.

Monika Krawczyk-Rudnicka

Originally from Lower Silesia by birth and affection, she swiftly embarked on her professional career. A decade ago, she founded her own company, which now employs 300 people. She graduated in chemistry from the Wrocław University of Technology and in biotechnology from the Agricultural University. This educational background quickly led her to establish connections with China, where she became acquainted with the photovoltaic industry. In 2012, she organized a large conference dedicated to the industry to introduce it to the Polish market. Under the patronage of the Ministry of Economy, the conference was one of the first of its kind in Poland. The next step was the establishment of the nationwide portal Energia–pl.pl, which soon changed its name to Energia MAX due to its dynamic growth. The portal now attracts 100 thousand monthly visits, a number that continues to increase steadily. The portal operates an OZE (Renewable Energy Sources) section for Money.pl. Simultaneously, Monika Krawczyk-Rudnicka increasingly delves into the field of renewable energy. The Polish Solar Centre she established collaborates with local governments, central authorities, and major companies in Poland and abroad.

Kamila Perkowska

Editor-in-Chief of the magazine "Agroenergetyka". She has been involved in the renewable energy industry since 2008. She has worked in media for over 12 years, first as a television presenter and reporter (Telewizja Polska), then as a radio reporter (Radio Plus). Since 2005, she has been a press journalist. Apart from managing "Agroenergetyka," she co-creates the magazine "Rolnik dzierżawca". She has been honored with awards and distinctions for her work, including from the Polish Wind Energy Association.

Grzegorz Jackowski

President and Editor-in-Chief of EcoSquad.pl – an informational and opinion-forming portal focusing on ecological construction and environmentally friendly building materials. Describes himself as passionate about ecology, not just for show but for tangible results, which is why he ventured into ecological construction. He took his first steps in this industry during his studies at the Krakow University of Technology. Subsequent collaborations with numerous companies in the construction industry, as well as associations and institutes, led to the desire to lead his own projects and initiatives that effectively combine ecology and economics. He is a member of the Polish Association of Ecological Construction and collaborates with the Polish Institute of Passive Construction. Currently, he leads several ecology projects aimed at shaping the market for ecological construction in Poland and Europe.

Tomasz Szymkowiak

A graduate in political science with a specialization in local government from Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. Since the mid-nineties, he has been working at Abrys, a Poznań-based company that publishes industry magazines and organizes nationwide training and conferences. Since 2003, he has been heading the publishing department as Director and Editor-in-Chief of publications. The company's portfolio includes five nationwide monthly magazines: Przegląd Komunalny, Recykling, Czysta Energia, Wodociągi-Kanalizacja, Zieleń Miejska, as well as industry portals: komunalny.pl, czystaenergia.pl, ecomanager.pl. A graduate of the Higher Banking School in Poznań. He is fluent in English and proficient in Russian.
