Since 1990, PhD of Technical Sciences at Belarusian National Technical University, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Specialization: metal science and heat treatment of metals. In 2012 he obtained a degree of Associate Professor of Technical Sciences at Warsaw University of Technology, Faculty of Production Engineering, Specialization: Machine Construction and Exploitation. Between 1980 and 1982 he worked as a junior technologist in Research and Development Centre of Image Sensors UNITRA POLKOLOR in Warsaw.
Between 1986 and 1987 he acted a Head of Fatigue Strengh Labolatory in The Department of In-Service Strength. In the years 1987 - 1990 he became a Head of Fatigue Strengh Labolatory.
In 1999 he graduated from the Faculty of Automatic Control, Electronics and Computer Science of Silesian University of Technology with a PhD degree. He works as a Full Professor at the Institute of Automatic Control. Moreover, he is a Vice-President for Research and Development (2016-2020). Since 2008, he has been working as a Head of the Department of Measurement and Control Systems at Silesian University of Technology. Between 2006 and 2016 he was working as a Deputy Director for the Faculty of Automatic Control. He also gained professional experience during his research trips to Germany, Denmark and the United Kingdom. In February 2016, as a result of a direct election, he was elected for a 4-year term as a Vice-President for Professional Relations of the International Institute of Acoustics and Vibration (IIAV), Vice-President for Communications (2007-2011), and a President (2010-2012). For many years, he has been organizing scientific conferences, taking place in many different countries, gathering from 700 to 1300 participants annually. He used to be a member of about 50 international scientific committees.

The main subject matters of Maria Richert’s research are issues from materials science engineering, with achievements especially in area of deformation of metals and alloys with the use of strong plastic strain processes (cyclic extrusion compression -CWS, an equal channel angular processing -ECAP, hydrostatic extrusion – HY); achievements in producing and studying nanomaterials, analysing aluminium alloys with special regard to thermal processing of these alloys as well as modification of the composition of aluminium alloys enhancing the efficiency of extrusion, matters of surface engineering, including nitrification, settling anti erosion covering and underseal by means of new methods using plasma; achievements in the field of powder consolidation for electrical contacts. She dealt with designing composite materials, phase analysis and chemical composition in coverings and composites.

Prof. Maria Richert PhD Eng. can boast of being a co-author of chapters in two foreign books in English. She is also an author of a book in Polish.
She presented 40 papers on international and national conferences and attended 50 conferences. She is a co-author of 4 patents. She took part in co-creating or managing 3 implementation to the industry (Grupa Kęty S.A., Plasma System S.A., Fabryka wentylatorów „Fawent” S.A.).
In total, during her academic career she participated as a contractor, main contractor and manager in 61 research projects. In the last 4 years, she was a manager of 4 projects and 8 industry-commissioned works. According to Web of Science data – h-index equals 12.
Vice-Rector for Organization and Student Affairs of Medical University of Lodz
was born in the 16th of September 1962. His parents were working as teachers. In 1968, he began to attend primary school No. 147, and from 1971 to primary school No. 51 in Łódź. In 1976, he began his education in high school No. 9 in Łódź, in artistic class. He graduated in 1980 and began his studies at Medical Academy of Łódź. After graduation in 1986, he was an intern in Copernicus Regional Specialist Hospital and Janusz Korczak hospital in Łódź. On the 1st of October 1987 he started working at Copernicus Regional Specialist Hospital in Łódź in the Department of Tumor Pathology. A year later he became a full-time assistant in the Department of Tumor Pathology at the Department of Oncology - the Medical Academy in Lodz, Headed by professor Leszek Woźniak. He acquired his first degree specialty from anatomical pathology in 1989, in 1993 a specialty from pathology of cancer. In 2000, he passed the European Board of Pathology. Then he opened specialization of anatomical pathology, which he acquired in 2009. Since 2013 he's been a national consultant in this field. In January 1992, defended his doctoral thesis, "Number and Distribution of Dendritic Cells vs. Intensity and Composition of lymphocytomas in skin and stomach cancer. Immunohistochemical examinations"*. Leszek Woźniak was the thesis' supervisor. In 1992, he was an intern for a short period of time from the scope of the immunohistochemistry in Max Planck Institute in Göttingen. He was a scholar of the Kosciuszko Foundation at the National Institute for Neurological Diseases in Bethesda / Frederick, USA (1994-1995), where he conducted researches on the propagation of prions in experimental Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease in mice. He was dealing with primary brain tumors. Moreover, he participated in the study of hemorrhagic fever viruses. Subsequently, he received a scholarship from the Austrian Government to stay at the Institute of Neurology at the University of Vienna in 1995-1996. As a result, he wrote his habilitation thesis, called: "Molecular and Immunohistochemical Analysis of Certain Pathogenic Factors for Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease in Mice"*, defended at the Faculty of the Medical Academy in Lodz (10th of June 1997). In addition to neuropathology, the subject of scientific research was related to other cancers, especially breast cancer and lymphatic system. Between 1999 and 2001 he took trips as a consultant to the University Hospital in Tromsø in Norway. In 1995, he became an Assistant Professor. Since 1998, he has been a Head of of Pathology and Oncology Department and since 2002, a Head of the Oncology Department at Medical Academy in Lodz. Also in 2002, he was entitled as a Professor, and obtained the position of University Associate Professor. In 2004 he took up his possition as full professor. Between 2002 and 2005, he worked as Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Medicine. Since 2004, he has been a member of the Senate of the Medical University in Łódź. Between 2005 and 2008 he was working as a Vice-President of Regional Medical Chamber in Łódź and as a Chairman of the Committee for Ethics. In 2008 he became a Vice-President for Research and International Cooperation, and in the next term he became a Vice-President for Students and Organizational Issues. In his two terms, he used to be the first Deputy Rector. In 2016, he won the elections of Rector.

Lech M. Grzesiak received the M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering and the Ph.D. and D.Sc. degrees from the Warsaw University of Technology (WUT), Warsaw, Poland. He is Senior Member of IEEE (2003).
In 1977, he joined WUT, where he is currently a Full Professor and holds the position of Dean of the Electrical Faculty. From 2004 to 2012, he was with the Institute of Physics, Nicolaus Copernicus University (NCU), Torun as a Professor . He was also the Co-Director of the European Centre of Excellence on Power Electronics and Intelligent Control for Energy Conservation—PELINCEC 2003–2006.
He has directed more than 30 R&D projects in the field of industrial electronics. He is the author or coauthor of more than 150 papers and as well as 2 books and chapters in many of books. He is the holder of more than 40 patents. His main research interests are in the applications of artificial intelligence in control systems, generally dedicated for adjustable-speed drives including automotive electric drive, servo drives, power electronic converters, and electrical energy generating and storage systems.
Prof. Grzesiak many years was an Associate Editor of the IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON INDUSTRIAL ELECTRONICS and currently is an Associate Editor of the IEEE Transaction on Industrial Informatics.
He is Editor-in-Chief of International Journal of Electrical and Computer Engineering (IJECE).
In 1997-2005 he was a Democratic Left Alliance (Sojusz Lewicy Demokratycznej) deputy in Zielona Góra district.
Professor Tadeusz Glinka graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the Silesian University of Technology in 1961. He obtained a PhD degree in 1968 and became an Associate Professor in 1975. In 1990 he was awarded the title of Professor, and in 1995 he received the position of a Full Professor of the Silesian University of Technology. In 1990-1996 he used to work as the Dean of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the Silesian University of Technology. Between 1993 and 2006 he worked as the Head of the Institute of Theoretical and Industrial Electronics. Between 1993 and 2017, he has been the President of Komel Scientific Council of Institute of Electric Motors and Machinery, and since 1997 has been an employee of this Institute. In his research activity, he deals with electrical machines: construction, operation, research and diagnostics. The scientific and scientific-technical acquisitions include four books written by the Professor Glinka, two of which are devoted to electric machines with permanent magnets. He was a co-author of 4 books, more than 350 scientific and technical articles, and more than 40 patents. Member of the Electrotechnical Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAN), Electrical Machines and Transformers Section, and Electric Traction Committee of the Electrical Engineering of the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAN). He belongs also to the Transport Committee at the Katowice Branch of the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAN). In 2003-2010 he was a member of the Central Commission for Degrees and Titles.

Medical Genetics Laboratory Specialist, Associate Professor at the Medical University in Łódź. Head of Clinical Genetics Department at Medical University in Łódź. He deals with dissemination of the latest achievements of clinical genetics and laboratory in Poland. By introducing the latest genetic disease analysis techniques leading to the most accurately characterized patient phenotype, introduction of an adequate therapy or selection of therapy for identified genetic changes and genetic counseling. He was granted a scholarship from the American Diabetes Association Mentorship at Joslin Diabetes Center, Harvard Medical School in Boston. Winner of the UMED Rector Award in Łódź for scientific achievements 2010-2016, twice awarded with the Minister of Health Award 2009 and 2013. By sharing his experience, he implements research projects in cooperation with European and American Centers, training and expanding the knowledge and experience in the field of clinical genetics. Simultaneously, he conducts training courses and workshops for clinicians and diagnosticians from Poland. The leading scientific and diagnostic topic is the genetic basis of monogenic diabetes and selection of personalized therapy. Here, the referential Labolatory is the Institution administrated by Professor Borowiec. Patients with congenital malformations (Down, Noon and Marfan syndromes, and many others) are not left behind, as well as Prenatal Genetic Diagnosis performed by specialist clinics headed by prof. Borowiec.

Prof. Jan Iwaszkiewicz PhD. Eng. In 1966 he obtained the degree of Master of Science in Electronic Engineering and started working at the Department of Marine Electrical Engineering at the Institute of Electrical Engineering. Between 1978 and 1982, he worked in the field of measurement automation, ultrasonic and pulse technology, and ship electronics at the Maritime Fishery Institute. In the eighties, Dr. Iwaszkiewicz worked abroad in France and at sea for the Basrah State Company. Later in his career, he worked on mathematical systems and held the position of manager at Compatibility Laboratory of Gdańsk branch. In 2000, he worked as a Deputy Director of the Research Division, and a year later he was a Director of the Institute of Electrical and Control Engineering. Recognising the contribution made to the development of electrical engineering, particularly for achievements in scientific and didactic care, he was awarded with a commemorative medal of the 50th anniversary of SEP in Gdansk and Medal of Michal Doliwo Dobrowolski (SEP Management Board decision in Warsaw).
He is a member of the Kashubian Institute in Gdańsk and "Drogami Tischnera" Association (eng. Tischner Road Association*) in Łopuszna. Scientific, didactic and organizational activities have been honored with state decorations: the Golden Cross of Merit, the Medal of the National Education Commission and the Gold Medal for the Long Service. For his contribution to the field of cooperation with INP - ENSEEIHT - LAPLACE in Toulouse (France), he received a medal commemorating the 400th anniversary of the French Consulate in Gdańsk establishment.

Mieczysław Ronkowski is an owner of a cat, called, Michałek, (to remind him of Michał Fraday law - the law, according to Professor Walter Lewin, “And that (Faraday’s law) runs our economy” (8.02 Electricity and Magnetism, Lecture 17, Spring 2002, Massachusetts Institute of Technology).
He obtained PhD at Wrocław University of Technology after defending an interdisciplinary thesis on synthesis, physics and chemistry as well as molecular modeling. Apart from his scientific activity, he also cooperates with entrepreneurs to create and implement innovative solutions. Graduated from International Management School-Marco Ltd, Academy of Internal Affairs where he became second lieutenant of MO, Jagiellonian University and University of Silesia where he defended his M.A. thesis in sociology of management and organizations. During his research and teaching and lecturing and consulting he dealt with rural sociology, sociology of management and organizations, sociology of work, methodology of sociological research, history of social thought, sociology of education, macro - and micro sociology, social conflict, social engineering, social psychology, macroeconomics, social ecology, mathematical induction and the theory of hypothesis testing in sociological research. As he says he has examined about 1 thousand of students at full-time and part-time studies. He participated in the implementation of several national social studies and government programs, including research in rural areas. among others, PR Nauczyciele 77, research in fertility of Polish women, rural studies, research in indigenous areas in Poland, research on the development of industry and increase in its adverse effect on public health.
Mr Sikora is a founder of a computer company “PC KOLFER” and a multi-sectorial enterprise “KOLFER” LLC – a renowned tour operator, which has been operating in the tourist and hotel industry for over 25 years. The “KOLFER” LLC was one of the first regional private institutions, dealing with national and international tourism, information technology as well as training in these industries.
Currently, he is the President of the University of Economy (WSG) in Bydgoszcz. WSG is a non-profit organization, providing educational services in 19 faculties including, among others, tourism and leisure, economics, mechatronics, creative industries, architecture, building engineering and computer science. The University conducts scientific activities with the support of the Department of Scientific Research and Development of Scientific Staff, which is responsible for organizing and conducting activities related to financing scientific research of the staff, supporting the process of professional development of the staff and initiating scientific and research cooperation with external entities.

During his career was working as Quality Assurance Manager in accredited research laboratory and Mechatronics Engineering Manager. The profile of my professional duties has changed as a result of further reorganization inside the Institute from a specialist in automotive lighting, through certification and type-approval tests of elements of equipment and vehicle components, to designing and testing structural components of both infrastructure and vehicles. Between 2011and 2014 he participated in a post-doctoral internship at the Institute of Fundamental Technological Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences, where he worked as a Project Manager.
